HOLD
Flying Research Project 2002 - ongoing

Hold began as research into the differences between learning to fly in a videogame and learning to fly in a light aircraft. I soon became more interested in the act of flying than of playing videogames and continued to take flying lessons until getting my pilots license in 2004. The experience of learning to fly continues to influence my work, either directly in flying and aerial perspectives or as metaphor. I am currently seeking opportunities to do an artists residency at a flying school.
